FAQs

Which platforms does Playbit support?
Playbit is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

It is a journal for the games you play on any console or PC — you choose the platform when you add a game (for example Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, PC).
Do I need an account?
No. Playbit does not require a sign-in or developer-hosted account. Your journal stays on your device (and in your iCloud if you turn sync on).
Where is my data stored?
Your library, journal entries, notes, photos, and to-dos are stored on your device.
If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, the same personal data can sync through Apple iCloud to your other Apple devices signed in with your Apple ID. Playbit does not keep a separate copy of your journal.

How do I delete my data?
1. Delete the app — removes local data on that device.
2. If you used iCloud sync — also remove Playbit data from iCloud:
Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Playbit → Delete Data (wording may vary by iOS version).
There is no Playbit server account to delete.
How does iCloud sync work?
Enable it in Settings. Sync uses your personal Apple ID. Turn it off anytime; the app still works fully offline on that device.
How can I contribute?
Playbit is built as a personal indie project. You’re welcome to help by:
- Sending feedback — what you like, what’s confusing, or ideas for future versions
- Reporting bugs — with device, iOS version, and steps to reproduce
- Suggesting features — especially workflow ideas for journaling your games
